The Early Career Researcher programme supports researchers training for an academic career as well as those whose future lies outside academia. The programme is also aimed at academic staff in the early stages of their research careers, to give participants support in networking, career planning and the development of their CCS research capacities.
ECR members can access a variety of benefits including ECR Away Days, ECR Collaboration Fund and the ECR Meeting Fund. Membership includes subscription to the UKCCSRC mailing list so that you can receive the monthly newsletter full of information about news and events relevant to CCS, as well as occasional relevant bulletins. You also have the option of including your profile in our online Members Directory.
In terms of our UKCCSRC funding opportunities, please check the call details for eligibility criteria. Our most recent Flexible Funding Calls ring-fenced significant amounts of money specifically for ECRs.
