Our ECR Awaydays cover a variety of career development topics. They look at specific skills, relevant to both academic and non-academic careers, and provide an opportunity for ECRs to connect with peers within CCS.
Ideas for events come directly from our UKCCSRC community and are shaped by ECRs, academics and industry. As well as our Awaydays, we work with our ECRs to provide ECR-led activities through our ECR Activity Fund and we collaborate on events with other organisations and research centres.

The UK Carbon Capture and Storage Research Community (UKCCSRC) is supported by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) as part of the UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) Energy Programme.
The mission of the UKCCSRC is to ensure that carbon capture and storage (CCS) plays an effective role in helping the UK achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050.
