CCS Training

The UKCCSRC provides training to many different audiences through numerous channels.  Our speakers are trusted experts in their field, either from academia, industry or regulators.

Training courses

We ran our first CPD-accredited training course in September 2023 targeted at employees from the UK governments (Department of Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ), devolved governments and other government departments), industry and regulators who wanted to increase their knowledge of CCS.

We are currently planning more training courses for later in 2024, which will be advertised here and through our other channels.  If you would be interested in the UKCCSRC delivering a specialist/bespoke training course for your organisation, please get in touch through info@ukccsrc.ac.uk

The UKCCSRC is a member of the CPD Certification Service and we intend for all our courses to be CPD certified.

CCUS for Net Zero webinars

More information and recordings can be accessed on the CCUS for Net Zero webpage.

Tackling Climate Change with CCS

In the run up to COP28 (November 2023), the UKCCSRC hosted a public webinar looking at “Tackling climate change with CCS”. Our Director, Jon Gibbins provided an overview of CCS to deliver net zero greenhouse gas emissions and combat climate change, including his experiences and insights from 45 years working in energy and CCS, and thoughts on the future.
