Biography:
I am a scientist at INCAR-CSIC working on sorption-enhanced technologies for low-carbon hydrogen production, synthetic fuels, and integrated CO₂ capture. My research combines experimental development, process modelling, scale-up, and techno-economic assessment, with a particular interest in accelerating the industrial deployment of carbon capture and carbon utilisation technologies. I actively collaborate with international academic and industrial partners to develop innovative solutions for carbon capture, utilisation, and decarbonised energy systems.
The UK Carbon Capture and Storage Research Community (UKCCSRC) is supported by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) as part of the UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) Energy Programme.
The mission of the UKCCSRC is to ensure that carbon capture and storage (CCS) plays an effective role in helping the UK achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050.
