UKCCSRC - Carbon Capture & Storage (CCS) Simplifying CO2 capture technology

The article provides information on the advantages offered by hybrid inorganic membranes in capturing carbon dioxide in raw natural gas in oil and gas wells. The contents of raw natural gas include, water vapor, hydrogen sulphide, carbon dioxide and helium. Pressure from environmentalists forced major oil companies to consider associated gas utilization and reduction of gas flaring, according to the author. The author describes the technology.
