Research Fellow in modelling and optimisation of CO2 transport networks in carbon capture, utilisation and storage operations, UCL

UCL’s Chemical Engineering Department is seeking the employment of a full-time Research Associate to work as part of a team on the modelling and optimisation of CO₂ transport and pipeline networks in Carbon Capture, Transport, Utilisation and Storage (CCUS) industrial clusters, in support of large collaborative multinational projects funded by the European Union.

The successful candidate is expected to have a PhD in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline, with experience in computational fluid dynamics, mathematical modelling and/or optimisation techniques. Good communication and presentation skills, including appropriate publication track record, are required.

This is a fixed-term role until March 2024 in the first instance.
