New paper from Salman Masoudi Soltani’s flexible funding project

We’re delighted to share news from Salman Masoudi Soltani on the publication of his new research paper, Influence of surface modification on selective CO2 adsorption: A technical review on mechanisms and methods, funded via the UKCCSRC Flexible Funding 2020 call.

The new paper by Salman Masoudi Soltani (Senior Lecturer in Chemical Engineering, Brunel University) seeks to understand how different surface modification methods can affect the performance of various adsorbent surfaces, to better enhance CO2 capture. This research is part of his new study, Biomass Combustion Ash in Carbon Capture, funded by our flexible funding. Salman’s PhD student, Mikhail Gorbounov, will also be presenting some of these results at our ECR presentation session on 19th November 2020, as part of our Autumn 2020 Web Series.

Find more details on this research in the blog, and view the published paper here.

Well done Salman!
