I am a PhD Student at Swansea University, Energy Safety Research Institute (ESRI). My research interest is mainly on studying the oil and gas transport and reactions of CO2 behaviour in porous materials through laboratory experiments. I am an eager person to carbon dioxide injection and geological sequestration (CCS), Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR, IOR), Mitigation and remediation of leakage from storage sites and novel capture technologies in CO2 capture. I am BSc of Petroleum and MSc in Nanomaterial Engineering. My studies in PhD course are until 2020. As part of my research, we designed and developed a high pressure high temperature (HPHT) facility at the ESRI Research Centre, Swansea University for investigation of CO2 injection in oil reservoirs.
Prior to current position, I worked as a Researcher at Research Institute of Petroleum Industry (RIPI) in Iran for 5 years. My work involved developing different nanomaterials related to the emulsions and IFT reduction and utilizing on EOR field-test in carbonated reservoirs.
I worked as an Nanomaterial Engineering for more than two years in consulting engineering companies in Iran specialised in painting, petroleum, and production engineering. I am a member of Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC), member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and American Chemical Society (ACS) as well.
