Ros Taplin is an transdisciplinary environmental and sustainability researcher. Her research encompasses the use of scientific and technical knowledge for environmental, climate and low carbon energy policymaking. She originally trained in science (geology and geophysics) and has a PhD in environmental policymaking and also a DVA in visual art. Ros is currently an Adjunct Professor at UNSW Sydney and a Visiting Scholar at the Centre for Energy Policy, University of Strathclyde, Glasgow. Her research interests include: climate policy; low carbon energy policy; sustainability indicators; environmental impacts of resource extraction; education for sustainability; and climate change art.
