I am a Post-Doctoral Research Associate at the University of Liverpool working in the ACT - ACORN consortium on initiating CCS activities off the North East coast of Scotland, below the Moray Firth. My role consists of performing geomechanical tests and microstructural/geochemical analyses on rock core retrieved during petroleum exploration.

Previously, I undertook my PhD studies at the University of Liverpool, focused on measuring physical properties and performing microstructural/geochemical analyses on rock that had been repeatedly earthquake-damaged along a major plate boundary fault, the Alpine Fault - New Zealand.
