My research focuses on the underlying mechanisms in turbulent multi-phase dynamics of fluid flow through both experimental and numerical means; with applications in geological, environmental, marine and energy engineering. The background of my work has focused on the investigation of the near-field effect, risk and impact from leaked geofluids on the marine environment in terms of physicochemical changes in seawater through a range of international collaborative projects.
