Mahmoud Nazeri is a postdoctoral researcher at Centre for Innovation in Carbon Capture and Storage (CICCS) at Heriot-Watt University. He obtained his PhD in petroleum engineering from Heriot-Watt University in 2015. During his PhD, he studied the impact of impurities on thermo-physical properties of CO2-rich systems by conducting experiments at wide ranges of pressure and temperature as well as modifying the models for density and viscosity prediction. Currently, he investigates the performance of Coriolis flow meters to transport and measuring CO2 and impurities. Nazeri has work experience in the oil and gas industry as a process and flow assurance engineer. He holds a BSc degree in chemical engineering from the University of Tehran.
