Lee Hosking is a Research Associate at the Geoevironmental Research Centre (GRC), Cardiff University, and leader of the carbon sequestration work package of the Flexis project (Flexible Integrated Energy Systems).
His research interests lie in the computational modelling of coupled transport processes in geological media. In particular, he specialises in reactive transport processes in fractured rock in response to high pressure gas injection and displacement. It was in this area that he developed and applied a theoretical and numerical modelling platform as part of his doctoral research at the GRC. His current work centres on applying the developed model in the study of carbon sequestration in deep unmineable coalbeds.
