Dr Juman Al-Saqlawi is a Research Associate at the Centre for Environmental Policy in the Faculty of Natural Sciences of Imperial College London. She is also a member of the Centre for Process Systems Engineering (CPSE).

Juman is currently working on a joint project between Imperial College London and Total S.A to develop a techno-economic scoping study for the carbonation of bauxite residue. This involves mapping CO2 sources, bauxite residue sites and potential re-use sites in the regions of interest and developing a supply chain model in GAMS.

Juman completed her PhD in December 2017 on residential solar PV systems at the Centre for Environmental Policy, Imperial College London. Before the PhD, Juman worked for the new railway project in London, Crossrail, where she undertook several roles including Project Engineering, Communications Integrations, Field Engineering and Commercial Management. She holds an MEng and BA degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Cambridge.
