Studied mechanical engineering at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (National Autonomous University of Mexico, UNAM) from 2011 to 2016.
Was an exchange student at the Politecnico di Torino in Italy between 2015 and 2016 in the mechanical engineering master program.
Since 2016, has been studying his master degree in mechanical engineering at UNAM.
He is a current participant of the SENER-UNAM specialization program in CO2 capture and EOR since 2017 and,
since 2018, a visitor scholar at Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh UK.
Research topics include: process engineering for successful implementation of CO2 capture in natural gas combined cycle power plants. He currently works with Dr. Gabriel Ascanio Gasca (CCADET, MEX), Dr. Abigail González Díaz (INEEL, MEX) and Dr. Eva Sanchez Fernandez (Heriot-Watt University, UK). Past research activities involved: development of oceanographic research instruments and machinery, and product design of auxiliary accessories for motor disabled people.
