My research interests lie at the intersection between science and technological innovation, governance and public values. My PhD research focussed on the community emerging around the governance of hydrogen energy innovation in the UK and Europe, and I am currently working with Professor Nick Pidgeon on the EPSRC funded project: CO2 injection and storage - Short and long-term behaviour at different spatial scales. The primary focus on my work is on stakeholder and public perceptions of the risks associated with carbon capture and storage technologies, in particular offshore sequestration.
