The Professional Institute of Pipeline Engineers (PIPE) wants to put the ‘T’ into CCTS, especially in the UK where the transportation of captured carbon between source and sink is likely to prove as complicated a factor as any other, not least in regards of public engagement.

Dan has been with PIPE since 2007, overseeing the organisation’s development into the international organisation for those who engineer and maintain oil, gas and (in time) captured carbon pipelines.

A history graduate twice over, Dan has a masters-level diploma from the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) in Public Affairs and Lobbying. His specialist subject is the communications and marketing strategies necessary to win support from local communities, as well as national opinion and policy formers, in regards of building the UK’s CCS infrastructure.
