Isabela Morbach M. e Silva has a BSc degree in Law from the Federal University of Pará (BR) and MsC in Public Finance and Economic Law from theUniversity of São Paulo. She has years of research experience working at Research Centre for Gas Innovation (RCGI), a world center for advanced studies of the sustainable use of natural gas, biogas, hydrogen and management, transport, storage and usage of CO2. at the University of São Paulo.
She is currently working as a Doctoral Visiting Researcher at the Centre for Environmental Policy (CEP), under the supervision of Dr. Zen Makuch at Imperial College London until May, 2020. She is a PhD candidate at the University of São Paulo examining CCS regulatory frameworks.
Isabela has research interests in oil & gas regulatory law, environmental law and policy, electric system regulatory frameworks, and the role that law can play in regulating public services and technology.
She has previously worked as a lawyer and researcher.
