Biography:
Principal Process Engineer and Technical Authority for CCUS at Altrad Babcock with >15 years experience working in the energy sector from consultancy to technology development and project delivery. Experience gained in a broad range of areas including a focus on Carbon Capture projects (both oxyfuel and post combustion) for over 10 years. Projects range from Feasibility studies through to FEED and full EPC. Demonstrable experience as part of the design and operations team of the Ferrybridge 100 t/day post combustion carbon capture plant (CCPilot100+)
The UK Carbon Capture and Storage Research Community (UKCCSRC) is supported by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) as part of the UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) Energy Programme.
The mission of the UKCCSRC is to ensure that carbon capture and storage (CCS) plays an effective role in helping the UK achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050.
