Knowledge Exchange Conference 2024 – Call for abstracts/presentations

We are excited to be hosting the next UKCCSRC Knowledge Exchange Conference, at The Edge, University of Sheffield, on 5-6th November 2024, for stakeholders from across the CCS community to present the latest learnings – and questions – from research and ongoing CCS deployment activities, with extensive informal networking opportunities provided as well.

The call for presentation and poster abstracts (overviews) is open to everyone who is a member of the UKCCSRC (it’s free) including, but not limited to, academics and early career researchers, industry, government, regulators and NGOs.

We are inviting presentation overviews/abstracts that include, but are not limited to, the following themes:

• CO₂ Capture
• CO₂ Storage
• CO₂ Transportation: including shipping and pipeline
• Communication and public perceptions of CCS
• CCS: policy, legal and regulatory
• Whole systems/chain and CCS integration
• CCS for geographically dispersed locations

We also invited applications to join the Abstract Review Committee (closed 23rd September), with opportunities including supporting the review of abstracts and final review panel participation.

Applications closed 1pm, Monday 30th September 2024.

Applicants can expect to hear back by 9th October 2024, following the abstract review committee panel.
