Oliver Stanfield
Early Career Researcher
Biography
Oliver currently is a PhD student at the University of Leeds, with an undergraduate degree in Chemistry with Industrial Experience from Bangor University. His current research focuses on the challenges, impact and opportunities in large scale solvent management for CCS processes at industrial sources of carbon dioxide, such as solvent regeneration, recycling, and production methods and scalability with embedded CO2 emissions in solvent manufacture. Furthermore looking at key issues and fundamental chemistry aspects with amine deployment, such as degradation routes, which reduce the capacity and ability for carbon capture.
