International Research Collaboration Fund – Call 2
Call 2 of the UKCCSRC International Research Collaboration Fund was launched on 29 August 2014.
Recipients of the second round of funding were:
Dr Anna Stork (University of Bristol)
Travel to Canada and work with Dr Don White (Geological Survey Canada) and My Kyle Worth (Aquistore) for the purpose of knowledge exchange and collaborative research on the geophysical monitoring of the Aquistore CO2 injection project. March-April 2015.
Dr David Jones (British Geological Survey), Dr Matthew Hall (University of Nottingham), Dr Sean Rigby (University of Nottingham) Dr Barry Lomax (University of Nottingham)
Travel to Australia, Canada and South Korea to work with Dr Andrew Feitz (CO2CRC / GeoScience Australia), Prof Seong-Taek Yun (K-COSEM/Korea University) and Dr Don Lawton (CMC) forge links between a CO2 leakage test site under development in the UK and those being commissioned (or operational) in Australia, Canada and South Korea.
Professor Yong Yan (University of Kent)
Travel to China to work with Prof Tao Zhang (Tianjin University) to carry out experimental and statistical modelling on demonstrable multi‐modal sensing system for CO2 pipeline transport. August-September 2015.
