We’re delighted to share the publication of a new report, A Trans-European CO2 Transportation Infrastructure for CCUS: Opportunities & Challenges, produced on behalf of the Advisory Council of the European Zero Emission Platform (ZEP) for which Prof Haroun Mahgerefteh was one of the two lead authors. The 80 page report, involving contributions from a consortium of industrial end users, technology developers, engineers, policy and business specialists across Europe is aimed at facilitating the development of a multi-billion Euro trans-European infrastructure for transporting captured CO2 from major industrial emission sources for permanent geological storage.
Haroun has worked on a number of projects funded by the UKCCSRC, including our 2018 Flexible Funding Call and the Scientific Council Award, so we hope you will all join us in congratulating Haroun and his team on this report. Well done all!
