Westminster Energy, Environment & Transport Forum is holding an online policy conference on Tuesday 26th April 2022 at 8.30am -1.00pm on ‘Next steps for CCUS policy and commercialisation – policy and long-term deployment, the clusters programme, commercialisation, supply chain, global outlook’.

This conference looks at next steps for carbon capture, utilisation, and storage. Key stakeholders and policymakers will assess priorities for the Carbon Sequencing Process and for realising wider benefits from CCUS technologies.

Against the backdrop of the UK’s CCUS Cluster Sequencing Process, the agenda looks at Track-1 Clusters, next steps and outstanding issues, and priorities for progression to Phase-2.

The discussion comes during a period of renewed focus on the development and commercialisation of carbon capture technologies in the UK – with the Government viewing it as critical to meeting its commitment to reach net-zero emissions by 2050, and integral to economic growth and helping tackle regional disparities.
