UKERC Inclusive Writing Retreat 2026
UKERC are holding their Inclusive Writing Retreat in Cardiff from 17 – 18 November 2026.
The retreat is open to all UK-based, energy-focused Early Career Researchers (ECRs), and applications from underrepresented groups in energy research are particularly welcome. Over the course of the retreat, participants take part in group sessions, networking activities, and dedicated writing time, with each attendee bringing a specific writing project to focus on. The retreat also includes an evening dinner with the opportunity to speak with stakeholders working in energy.
Applications are now open, with a deadline of 26 September 2026.
The UK Carbon Capture and Storage Research Community (UKCCSRC) is supported by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) as part of the UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) Energy Programme.
The mission of the UKCCSRC is to ensure that carbon capture and storage (CCS) plays an effective role in helping the UK achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050.
