We need to take rapid & drastic action to reduce emissions and tackle climate change. Large scale CO2 removal and storage has a key role to play in achieving net-zero and net-negative emissions. Effective governance is needed to realise the SDGs and ensure a just transition to a sustainable future.
Speakers: High-level experts (IPCC, Norway, Dalberg Africa) and Q&A to engage audience: science on need for removals and storage to reach Net-Zero through cooperation between multiple actors; CCS feasibility & success stories; governance to identify opportunities, risks and incentives to scale-up removals.
