As part of the IDRIC Cluster Webinar Series, IDRIC is holding a webinar on 16 January 2024 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm GMT on ‘Solent Industrial Cluster’.
This webinar will:
- Share the outcomes of some of IDRIC’s key projects supporting the decarbonisation in the Solent Industrial Cluster.
- Highlight how research findings from these projects can be applicable to other clusters and dispersed industries.
- Get local industry perspectives and feedback on how IDRIC can take its work in the region forward.
- Hear from the Solent Cluster on decarbonisation progress, challenges, and opportunities.
The webinar will be chaired by Dr Lindsay-Marie Armstrong, IDRIC’s Academic Cluster Lead for the Solent Cluster

The UK Carbon Capture and Storage Research Community (UKCCSRC) is supported by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) as part of the UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) Energy Programme.
The mission of the UKCCSRC is to ensure that carbon capture and storage (CCS) plays an effective role in helping the UK achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050.
