UKCCSRC ECR Awayday (Manchester, 26th March)

March 26

Our next ECR Awayday is taking place on Tuesday 26th March, at Manchester University, and will include a networking dinner.  The UKCCSRC Spring Conference will be taking place on the following two days, 27th-28th March.

The Awayday will include a workshop focusing on futures and opportunities, with sessions relevant to Early Career Researchers, from any discipline, working within CCS.  The day will include the chance to reflect on the role CCS could play in daily experiences, and what the landscape may look like when CCS is a part of everyday life. The Awayday will also be a great opportunity to meet fellow ECRs in advance of the Spring Conference to network and share knowledge.

Registrations closed on Tuesday 19th March, 5pm.

The ECR Meeting Fund was opened to support ECRs attendance at this event (closing at 12pm (noon), Tuesday 12th March).

What will a future with CCS look like?
By working on CCS you are contributing to one of the key strategies that the UK (and many other countries) are counting on to reduce carbon dioxide emissions and halt – or even reverse – climate change. This workshop will create a structured opportunity for you and your peers to imagine the future and so begin to shape it.
