ECCSEL ERIC European workshop (in-person and virtual): Industrial decarbonisation and beyond: CCUS perspectives in Europe and the role of ECCSEL ERIC European Research Infrastructure

ECCSEL ERIC is organising a European workshop on Tuesday 24 May 2022 at 09:30-16:30 CET (08:30-15:30 BST) in Brussels (and on line). The title of the workshop is: Industrial decarbonisation and beyond: CCUS perspectives in Europe and the role of ECCSEL ERIC European Research Infrastructure. The event will discuss current developments in Europe on Carbon Capture, Utilisation and Storage (CCUS) in order to tackle irreducible CO2 emissions of the European industrial system.

The role of ECCSEL ERIC, the European Research Infrastructure on CCUS, distributed in five Member States, and its relevance to potential new member countries, will be highlighted.
ECCSEL is recognised by the SET Plan as ‘a world-class research infrastructure facilitating ambitious R&D activities, European industrial initiatives, and education of specialists for the new CCUS industry’.
