Department for International Trade: Spotlight on Northern Territory – virtual trade mission

The Department for international Trade is holding a series of web events on 17, 24 and 31 March 2022 at 8.00am to 10.00am GMT on ‘Spotlight on Northern Territory – virtual trade mission’.
Australia’s Northern Territory (NT) is looking to establish a AU$40 billion economy by 2030. To achieve this, they have developed sustainable and competitive industry growth strategies, creating opportunities for international companies.
The Spotlight on Northern Territory virtual trade mission will focus on the fastest growing sectors in Northern Territory, highlighting these opportunities to UK companies.
The sessions include:
- Opportunities and Support within NT
- Critical Minerals
- Energy (Renewables, Hydrogen and CCUS)

The UK Carbon Capture and Storage Research Community (UKCCSRC) is supported by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) as part of the UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) Energy Programme.
The mission of the UKCCSRC is to ensure that carbon capture and storage (CCS) plays an effective role in helping the UK achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050.
