I am pleased to have the opportunity to attend the UKCCSRC London Biannual meeting. The poster session took place at 18:00 in the main exhibition hall where the attendees as well as judges walked around and some researchers, including myself, presented their posters to interested individuals.
I found this session very effective as I met experienced researchers in my field with whom I discussed my work. I received comprehensive comments which will be helpful in my studies. Moreover talking with people from different backgrounds gave me new ideas to look at my work from different angles.
Durning the networking drinks reception Maxine Akhurst and Mary Mowat from the British Geological Survey hosted a session for delegates to learn about the UKCCSRC Data and Information Archive. The outputs (posters, presentations, papers, reports) from the UKCCSRC and EPSRC-funded CCS research projects, other UK CSS projects and other CCS projects with UK involvement are available for individuals to download.
The aim is to gather all researchers working on CCS to analyse problems, devise and carry out world-leading research, and share delivery. Important and hardly accessible data are available in the archive, and voluntary submission of outputs from other relevant researches is welcomed.
