This blog was provided by Mahdi Kapateh whose attendance at the UKCCSRC Cardiff Biannual was supported by the Early Career Researchers Meeting Fund. A one hour poster session was held where the attendees as well as judges walked around, with the attendees presenting their posters to the interested individuals. The poster session was very popular with a large number of people walking around to the point where routes became impassable at times.Read more

We started the day with an early morning meet-up in front of Cardiff University to take a bus to the research centre approximately 40 minutes away from the city centre. After arrival and the safety check headcount we were gathered in a meeting room and received a quick briefing about the research programs in the GTRC before being split into groups.
