Open to all ages, this coastal walk will take you on a journey through the geological history of the Goldeneye reservoir – which lies 2.5 km below the bed of the North Sea. Learn about the rocks that overlay this vast field – where CO2 from the Peterhead Power Station will be stored – and their fascinating 145-million year history, spanning everything from asteroids to deep-sea monsters!
A fun introduction to the journey and a theatrical finale will take place in Boddam Hall before and after the walk.
