A 6 day ‘Spring school’ on geological storage of CO2 will be presented by the ENOS project from 14th to 19th May 2018 in Latera, Italy. The overall objective of this course is to share knowledge and understanding of CO2 geological storage with young researchers. Please note that although there is no charge to attend this course, direct travel expenses to and from Rome will need to be funded by the students themselves.
To attend, students would need to provide the following;
- Application letter describing why they are interested in the course (with contact details including email address)
- Brief CV
- Letter of recommendation from their head of department, supervisor or mentor
- Applicant’s email address
Please send applications by email to Niels Poulsen (nep@geus.dk) with the subject line ‘ENOS Spring School 2018’. Applications must be received by February 9th, 3pm UK time. The school organisers will then select from the applications to ensure a balance of attendees.
The ENOS project (www.enos.eu) aims to advance CO2 storage in Europe by researching aspects relevant to deep geological storage of CO2 onshore. The ENOS project is an initiative of CO2GeoNet (www.co2geonet.com) and receives funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme.
