CCS: Basics, practical examples and deployment, an immersive workshop – 10-11 December 2019

The UK CCS Research Centre is organising a CCS workshop in Sheffield on 10-11 December 2019.  It is intended to be relevant for a wide range of people, including industry, researchers, PhD students, policy (including local government) and potential investors. It will cover CCS basics across the whole chain in an accessible way as a grounding for everyone, then look in more detail at practical examples of what has been, or could be, done in the field with some of the industries doing it, and finally discuss how CCS might be deployed at scale in the UK and wider North Sea Basin.  As well as the presentations there will be plenty of networking time to discuss particular points in detail, including a working dinner.  Attendees can also submit electronic ‘posters’ to introduce their own work if they wish and a few speaking slots are still available.
