CATO Meets the Projects – 4 December 2018

The Netherlands is preparing for the deployment of large scale CCUS, both through cutting-edge R&D and industrial project development. CATO continues to maintain and broaden the scientific community working on CCUS.
On Tuesday 4 DECEMBER 2018,
the CATO community is again invited to ‘Meet the Projects’. Early 2018 saw the launch of a call by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) for CCUS pilot projects and feasibility studies. A number of  projects have now been awarded and the initiators have been invited to share their planned work with the broader CCUS community.

Invited projects include:
• CO2 capture at waste-to-energy plants (AEB, AVR, HVC, Twence)
• PORTHOS Rotterdam CO2 transport hub – Port Authority Rotterdam
• Lowering the cost of capture – Plant One Rotterdam
• Inland CO2 shipping concepts – Shipco Consultancy
• CCUS at Tata Steel
Naturally, the CATO team will ensure that sufficient time is available during lunch and the networking event after the meeting to enable you to catch up with the CATO community.
