The Institute of Mechanical Engineers is holding the 8th Annual Carbon Capture and Storage Seminar.
The CCS technology is increasingly proven and its application is necessary if the UK Government is to meet its CO2 emission reduction commitments without incurring unnecessary and damaging reductions in the security of electricity supply or expensive purchases of fuel on the world market.
Providing an update on the status of Carbon Capture and Storage in the UK including the two UK FEED studies at White Rose and Peterhead. Bringing together strategists, policy makers as well as providing technical updates this event will once again provide mechanical engineers working in the field of CCS the opportunity to come together and share their common challenges and solutions and to understand the role CCS will have in the future of UK energy and climate policy.
