Home > About > About Ukccsrc > Welcome to the UKCCSRC

The UK Carbon Capture and Research Centre (UKCCSRC) brings together world-class CCS academics to provide a national focal point for CCS research and development. The Centre is a network where academics, industry, regulators, Government and others in the sector collaborate to analyse problems, carry out world-leading research and share delivery.

Between 2017 and 2022, the Centre will both coordinate a programme of core research and have flexible funds available for emerging topics.  The aim is to stimulate the UK economy by driving an integrated research programme focused on increasing the contribution of CCS to a decarbonised UK economy.

If you would like to get involved with the UKCCSRC you can apply to be a member, or contact the secretariat on [email protected]
